Dr. Nyasha Gwata is a highly skilled Gynaecologist, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon, and Obstetrician. She completed her specialist OBGYN training at Monash Health before undertaking a two-year fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Gwata is proud to be the first Black formally trained AGES (Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery) surgeon in the country . With a passion for women’s health, she specialises in minimally invasive surgery, offering patients safer and quicker recovery options. Dr. Gwata is dedicated to advancing women’s healthcare through her expertise, compassionate care, and commitment to excellence in surgery.
